The readers of Free Republic respond to Obama’s Grandmother’s Passing.

November 3, 2008

Lo and behold, the angry readers of Free Republic show all the class in the world in responding to the passing of “Toot.”

These are just the comments that I could copy before the moderator removed them.

It’s sad she won’t be around to see her Grandson lose.

Well, as far as she is concerned, God rest her soul.
And as far as Obama is concerned, it sure is convenient.

How convenient.

This is tricky. Of course one wants to wish a bereaved family comfort.
But here, in the case of Barack Obama, there is a confusion. He is a man of layers of lies, constant lies, lies upon lies.
There is simply no surety that any circumstance about Mr. Obama is honest.
Here’s the best I can do: I wish comfort to anyone truly bereaved in their days of bereavment.

Terminally ill cancer patients rarely die from the cancer itself.
It is not uncommon for their death to be planned and assisted, before the suffering become too unbearable.
There is no doubt that 0bama went to Hawaii to finalize such a planned terminal sedation for his grandmother, and decided on today as the day for her to pass on.
This may have been the first politically timed terminally sedation ever.

Ugliness abounds.

One thing the internet has done is allow people to air out their most vile and despicable thoughts and feelings without the veil of social grace and with no fear of repercussion.

It’s a shame they can’t put their bile aside on even this sensitive topic and simply respect a man who lost his grandmother.

There’s a memorial page hosted by the American Cancer Society if anyone wants to leave their thoughts or make a donation in her memory.
