So When WE Do It, It’s Okay.

John McCain, staunch anti-torture advocate, stated in November of 2007:

” … following World War II war crime trials were convened. The Japanese were tried and convicted and hung for war crimes committed against American POWs. Among those charges for which they were convicted was waterboarding.”

The Truth-O-Meter does not dispute.

And yet, here we stand today.  There’s an actual debate going on as to whether or not waterboarding is really all that bad.  Sean Hannity’s volunteering to have it done to him for charity.  You know, like it’s a dunk tank, or something.
